May Day for Workers

As public servants around the UK and world fight for financial recognition of thier labour its important to remember why this bank holiday exists.

As a nurse for people with Learning Disabilities and still practicing in between my day job and side hustle, I totaly stand firm with fellow Nurses, Doctors and Allied Health Professionals. For those tuned in we saw the carnage over 8 years ago.....Government were not listening.......now its hit the general public and they understand what we have been trying to tell them.......its clear the Government were not listening but actually did not care!!!!

Happy Labour Free Day!!

May Day, also called Workers' Day or International Workers' Day, is the day that commemorates the struggles and gains made by workers and the labour movement. It is observed in many countries on May 1. In the United States and Canada, a similar observance, known as Labor Day, occurs on the first Monday of September.
